As part of the annual Malton Food Lovers Festival a cookery competition was held at Malton School, North Yorkshire. The Young Chef's Competition was held with year 9 pupils studying Food Technology.
With over 100 entries, choosing 5 finalists was almost impossible as standards were extremely high. After much debate, the final 5 came head to head in the cookery kitchen, and after much deliberation with the judges, a winner was found. Watch this space to see who it was!
