Fresh mint sauce is the traditional sauce to serve as an accompaniment to roast lamb dishes.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- Bunch of fresh garden mint leaves, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp boiling water
- 4 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
Preparation:
- Place the mint leaves in a heatproof jug, add the sugar and pour over the boiling water. Stir gently then leave to cool.
- Stir in the vinegar and taste. If too strong add a little more water.
- Serve with roast lamb dishes.
