Adelaide, South Australia is home to this years' World Food Media Awards - the foodie equivalent of the movie Oscars. The awards acknowledges the work of food and drink professionals, writers, educators, TV presenters and producers across the world, recognising excellence across a broad range of publishing and broadcasting on food and drink, books, magazines, newspapers, television, internet websites, guide books and photography.

I am lucky enough to attend the awards this year and will be cheering Great Britain and Ireland on. Below is the list of UK and Irish shorlisted nominees.
