I have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday in Italy. The food, the company and even the weather was perfect so coming home was a little difficult, except that I always look forward to a proper cup of tea. We certainly drank a lot of tea while we were in Italy, but somehow it just doesn't taste the same as when at home.
The difference has to be attributed to different tea and certainly to different water but one thing that always surprises me, the different ways of making tea. My absolute worst encounter with making bad tea is the cup of hot water with a tea bag sitting alongside in the saucer; there is no way I will even consider drinking tea made that way.
So what is the best way to the perfect cuppa? Here are three opinions, and believe me there are plenty more to choose from.
- The Perfect Cup of Tea Every Time
- Step by Step to a Perfect Cup of Tea
- Loose Leaf or Tea Bags, Which is Your Favourite?
