This weekend before Christmas Eve is often deemed one of the busiest in the cook's calendar. Cooking a full Sunday lunch doesn't necessarily rate high on the list of jobs to do but there are alternatives.
No British Sunday lunch is right without Yorkshire Puddings but it is not always necessary, however, to have a roast with them. Yorkshire Puddings are delicious served in different ways like this family-sized Toad in the Hole.
Make the sausage filled Yorkshire Pudding in a large roasting tin then cut into chunky slabs and smother in onion gravy. If the family-sized pud is too much then you can also make Individual Toad in the Holes. Easy.
