5 Jobs Often Forgotten Before Christmas

It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas, certainly in the house with so much cooking going on. Have just made a large batch of chicken stock for stocks and sauces so that's another job ticked off the list. If I sound smug, believe me, I still have many other things to do including shopping, gift wrapping and some cards left to write.

There are a few small jobs in the kitchen which are often overlooked in all the hustle and bustle but get them done and they will save you masses of time, stress and irritation. Done now, I promise it will make things easier when Christmas arrives.
