I'm usually a bit of a stickler when it comes to eating foods when they are supposed to be eaten., Normally hold out until December to eat Mince Pies, then we eat them all the time, right through Christmas. This year however, I am giving in. I am being nagged to make them and as I made the mincemeat several weeks ago, what the heck, life is too short, and I'm only two weeks early though the commercial ones have been in the shops for months.
