Although Bonfire Toffee aka Treacle Toffee is an absolute treat on Bonfire night, it also goes down well for Halloween. Yummy, sticky toffee to chew on while out Tricking and Treating. You may want to wrap it in greaseproof paper as it does go quite sticky once it gets a little warm. This Treacle Toffee Recipe is simple, quick and easy to make but must be approached with caution as toffee gets very, very hot (up to 140 °C/ 270°F) as it is boils. Treacle Toffee keeps very well stored in an airtight tin so if you make it for Halloween then make enough for Bonfire night and even for Christmas. Delicious.
