Here are just a few different names for the ubiquitous cup of tea.
- A cuppa
- Rosie Lee
- Cuppo the tea
- Kippertae
- Cup o' char
- A brew
- Scooby Doo
- Cup av tay
Here's a handy glossary for the different words and as the names of mealtimes can also vary, a little explanation to help you along.- British Food Translator - A - Z of British to American
- Mealtimes in Britain - Guide to the Names
